Expectations

Click RP will be holding gangs to a higher standard, this means that everyone that decides to live the gang life will be expected to provide quality RP and not just live by the notion of “Well my character is a gangster, I do what I want without any repercussions”. We will also be giving our OG’s more power in terms of what happens to their gang.

Roleplay from the gangs needs to be good, almost all of the hostile RP will be oriented around gangs and as such all actions need to have valid reasons, such as not starting wars over stupid things like twatter drama or skipping you in line at the Corazon restaurant.

Combat Initiation

We are expecting higher quality initiations this time around, there needs to be effort to RP before starting conflict.

The only exception is if you’re actively in a war with another group and are setting up fights, spinning their block, etc. We’re not expecting a full blown convo to happen before shooting. The beef that leads up to the war is where we want extra care to initiate and fights to happen, when the story is being built, during this time low quality initiations are not acceptable. If you just shot John, and John has no idea why he just got shot, then you fail to initiate properly.

Understandably some people have trouble understanding what acceptable initiation is, so here are a few examples:

• In the early stages of a war, sending someone to the enemy turf whether it be someone from your gang, or some poor Joe you kidnapped and having them deliver a message.

• Face to face verbal confrontation that leads to pushing, fist fight, etc and then eventually a gun fight.

• Saying shit like “BALLAS DID IT” or “gsbK” is NOT ACCEPTABLE initiation.

Behavior

We understand that deciding to play a criminal/gang member character will mean you have to have a certain persona, but that doesn’t mean you need to be overly toxic and disrespectful to other players. Trash talking is of course allowed, but constant bashing other people and excessively insulting people is not acceptable behavior. We are not trying to make this a snowflake city, but we are also not wanting people to feel bullied out of the city, we are all here to have fun.

Recordings

Most reports that come in happen when two gangs are warring, fighting, etc. Because of this we require our gangs to record their interactions, or at the very least be able to clip the situation and events leading up to it so we have context. This is the best way to clear your gang of any wrongdoing, and also keeps everyone accountable.

Just because we require our gangs to record/clip, it does not mean you run around threatening to “Get the body cam footage” The recordings/clips are all OOC, there is no reason a gang member should be running around with a go pro, it just incriminates themselves and sounds ridiculous. Referencing recordings/clips IC is not allowed, if you need to clip something then play out the situation and then open a ticket.
